2010 Aveda Institute Eco Fashion Show

couple

Every little girl dreams of her wedding gown – the ethereal white dress – the most glamorous moment of her entire life. Your wedding dress is much more than the sum of its parts. It’s not simply a dress, it is a statement of who you are and an extension of your inner beauty. This is you on the red carpet in the one dress that truly and totally defines your personal style.

We invite you to sit back and relax in our one-of-a-kind eco fashion lounge for the show. This is quite simply the freshest, most gorgeous bridal fashion show you will see outside of Bryant Park.

Be here for the breathless moment the models step onto the catwalk – they sway down the runway, long trains floating – a dream of white, creamy silk. Your eyes rush to take in every element of the dress itself, each detail. The gasps are audible when the crowd takes in the models’ incredible hairstyles – long flowing curls, piled high up-do’s and the most chic veils secured with flawless flowers and funky feathers. All framing beautiful faces, blushed and rouged in shimmering natural make-ups.

And of course you don’t want to miss the shoes either! Every girl loves shoes – sleek sexy heels and hip adorable flats will glide down the catwalk, inspiring you to new heights of style for your day.

You will find no synthetic run-of-the-mill dresses at our show. We are showcasing the finest in both new and vintage eco-gowns from the country’s coolest green designers and retro shops.

Our incredible make-up artists and hair stylists will show off their skills on the models and be available afterwards to talk to you in the lounge about options for your day!

The swanky eco lounge will be furnished with the hippest trappings imaginable. Stretch out on a fab sofa and enjoy the show. Admire the view of the catwalk as you gather with girlfriends around an eco-chic high top cocktail table and sip your glass of local wine.

And no show is complete without music. Dj's from Andy Kushner entertainment will flaunt their best beats.
